There are some spacing issues on the elements pages, I notice, since i upgraded to wiki 2 - I think I should delete my old "examples," too since they are outdated. (I like the examples you have done for measurements, etc). What do you think about the editting directions I included for adding examples? I think they should be taken out, too.

I think the directions are fine, they should stay. Most of the examples are fine too, it's only if we change the definition.

I was looking at the locations examples that I did long ago - not in the right format anymore I don't think -
By the way - how far "back" should a location go, do you think? We could end up like the girl in Our Town - "...United States, Planet earth, The Universe." Do we include "Europe" for Paris and "Africa" for Mali? Isn't it sort of euro-centric of us (or "western-centric") to include China in the cataloging for Gansu and not the United States in the cataloging for New York, NY [example used in the Core4 element description page]? should we let the wiki user decide (organically!)?

I think country is far enough and you're right, we should do it all the time, not just for non-European locations. Like everything here all we can do is suggest and provide examples. If people don't follow suit then that's fine too.
The locations element page looks good. I'll just move the Wikicatalog section to the top.
